Maharaja Ganga Singh began construction of this multi-storeyed palace of red sandstone in 1902. It is a combination of Rajasthani, European and Oriental architecture samples, on the outside is decorated with sculpture. The outer part of the palace is a museum, the family of Maharaja Bikaner lives in the lower half of the palace, and the rest is occupied by a luxury hotel. The museum has an excellent collection of miniature sandalwood statuettes, personal items of rulers, coins, statues, as well as photographs , as well as the Sanskrit library, which contains original manuscripts and engravings. Timing: The palace is located 3 km north of the city center, opposite the main bus station, open daily, except Wednesday from 10 am to 5 pm; for entry take 25 rupees.
